CO-FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

Fr. Robert Spitzer is co-founder of Healing the Culture, and Chairman of the Board. He is the author of the philosophical work from which the organization takes its name and its mission. He has published two bestselling books on pro-life ethics and has been a world-recognized defender of the sanctity of life for over 40 years.

 

Fr. Spitzer is the founder of several institutes, including The Magis Center of Reason and Faith and the Spitzer Center for Ethical Leadership. He was the President of Gonzaga University from 1998-2009.

 

Fr. Spitzer has spoken to thousands of audiences, and has done ethics consulting for over 300 organizations, including Boeing, Caterpillar, Toyota, Costco, the British Prime Minister’s Cabinet, the leadership of Costa Rica, Protestant and Catholic leadership in Northern Ireland, and the Orthodox Church in Russia.

 

He has published numerous books and scholarly articles, produced hundreds of video series, and speaks widely on pro-life, the philosophy of science, philosophy of God, and ethics.

 

He has a B.B.A. in Public Accounting and Finance, a Masters degree in Philosophy, a Masters of Divinity, a Masters of Theology in scripture, and a Ph.D. in Philosophy.
